Natural stone outlives almost everything around it, but the bedding and pointing do not. Steps work loose, slabs rock, and water gets into joints and lifts them in frost.
Restoration re-beds what has moved, replaces what has broken and re-points the surface, so the stone itself carries on doing its job.
Matching is the hard part
Replacement stone rarely matches weathered stone exactly. We will show you before committing rather than surprise you at the end.
