Algae and Lichen Treatment
A treatment that kills growth at the root so it returns more slowly.
Algae and lichen do not just sit on a surface, they colonise it. Lichen in particular grips hard enough to take the surface with it if forced off, which is why scraping damages tiles and stone.
A biocide treatment kills the organism and lets it weather off over the following weeks. It is slower than blasting and it does not damage what it is growing on.
It works over weeks
Treated lichen keeps lifting and washing off for weeks afterwards. The surface continues improving after we have left.
