Rust Stain Removal
Orange iron staining removed from paving and stone.
Rust marks on paving come from iron in the stone itself, from fertiliser, or from metal left standing on the surface. They are not dirt, so cleaning does nothing to them whatsoever.
A specific rust remover dissolves the iron oxide and lifts it out. Used wrong it bleaches the surrounding stone, so the dilution and dwell time matter.
Not a cleaning problem
Pressure washing will not touch rust staining. It needs a chemical that converts the iron oxide, applied carefully.
