Brick Cleaning
Brickwork cleaned without damaging the brick face or the mortar.
Brick looks durable and the face is harder than the mortar between it. Too much pressure blows out old lime pointing and leaves the wall open to water, which is a much larger repair than the clean.
We work at a pressure the mortar will take and treat organic growth chemically rather than forcing it off.
The mortar is the weak point
Old lime mortar fails long before the brick does. We check the pointing first and work to what it will take.
