Fence Staining
Stain or treatment applied once the timber is clean and dry.
Stain on dirty timber seals the dirt in and lifts within a year. On clean dry timber the same product soaks in and lasts, which is why the preparation matters more than the product.
Applied once the fence has dried properly after cleaning, which usually means a return visit rather than the same day.
It has to be dry
Staining damp timber traps moisture behind the finish. We wait for it to dry even when that means coming back.
